Indiana Code § 9-32-9-27

Civil remedies; actual damages; treble damages; costs and attorney's fees

Sec. 27. A person aggrieved by a violation of this chapter may recover the actual damages sustained, together with costs and reasonable attorney's fees. The court may increase the award of damages to: (1) an amount not to exceed three (3) times the actual damages sustained; or (2) two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500); whichever is greater.
