Sec. 18. (a) If: (1) a criminal proceeding for driving while intoxicated under IC 9-30-5 is deferred under IC 12-23-5-1 through IC 12-23-5-9 ; or (2) a child alleged to be a delinquent child based upon the child's violation of IC 9-30-5 voluntarily attends or is ordered by the court under IC 31-37 to attend an alcohol and drug services program; the court, within ten (10) days after the defendant or child begins the program, shall forward to the bureau a certified abstract of program enrollment. (b) The abstract must state the following: (1) The defendant's or child's name, address, date of birth, and driver's license number.
