Governor; director for traffic safety; powers and duties

Sec. 2. The governor and the director for traffic safety for the state are authorized and directed to: (1) notify the proper officials of the other states that Indiana recognizes the need for uniform traffic safety regulations and standards for the maintenance of traffic safety measures; and (2) urge all of the states to join in the Interstate Compact for Traffic Safety that has been authorized by the United States Congress.
