Permitting unlawful operation of vehicle

Sec. 4. (a) A person may not authorize or knowingly permit a motor vehicle owned by the person or under the person's control to be operated by a person who does not have a legal right to do so or in violation of this title.       (b) A person who violates this section commits a Class C infraction.
