Emergency vehicle; designation; prohibited vehicles

Sec. 1. (a) The Indiana department of transportation may designate as an authorized emergency vehicle a vehicle: (1) other than an ambulance that is owned by a person other than a hospital; and (2) that is used in emergency service.       (b) The Indiana department of transportation may designate and authorize other emergency vehicles under the rules the department prescribes.
