Sec. 3. (a) A person that: (1) registers a collector vehicle under IC 9-18.1-5-5 ; and (2) wishes to display on the collector vehicle an authentic license plate from the model year of the collector vehicle under section 4 of this chapter; must pay the required fee under subsection (b). (b) The fee to display an authentic license plate under subsection (a) is thirty-seven dollars ($37). The fee shall be distributed as follows: (1) Fifty cents ($0.50) to the state motor vehicle technology fund. (2) Six dollars and fifty cents ($6.50) to the motor vehicle highway account.
