Sec. 2. Section 1 of this chapter may not be interpreted to prohibit the following: (1) The voluntary contribution of an employee to a political party. (2) The voluntary participation of an employee in a political activity, unless the participation interferes with the employee's performance or responsibility of the employee's job.
