Sec. 18. (a) Each district shall request the attorney general to perform any legal services required in providing transportation service within the district. If the attorney general is unable to perform those services, the district may, with the attorney general's approval, employ an attorney. (b) The attorney general shall, to the extent feasible and upon request of a district, perform legal services for the district.
