Sec. 1. This chapter applies to a motor carrier if the motor carrier: (1) shipped goods intrastate within Indiana under a tariff or permit issued by a governmental body that is or was authorized by a statute to regulate the shipment; and (2) is no longer providing service within Indiana or has filed a petition for bankruptcy.
