Sec. 13. Such toll-collectors shall be selected, employed and paid in the same manner as other employees of the department are selected, employed and paid: Provided, That they shall be paid only out of said toll fund and their wages shall not be a charge upon the general funds of the department. Said toll-collectors shall be subject to the complete control of the department and to such regulations as it may prescribe governing their duties. Formerly: Acts 1927, c.10, s.13.
