Indiana Code § 8-1-5.5-1

Transfer of authority to supply piped drinking water to person other than city or town; time of test; rules

Sec. 1. Within thirty (30) days before the date that the authority to supply piped drinking water is transferred from a city or town to a person other than a city or town, the Indiana department of health shall conduct a test to determine the quality of the drinking water supplied by the city or town. The Indiana department of health shall adopt rules under IC 4-22-2 concerning the test that is required under this section.
