Indiana Code § 8-1-26-4

"Damage"

Sec. 4. As used in this chapter, "damage" means: (1) the substantial weakening of structural or lateral support of an underground facility; (2) the penetration or destruction of a protective coating, a housing, or another protective device of an underground facility; (3) the partial or complete severance of an underground facility; or (4) rendering any underground facility inaccessible.
