Rates and charges; discrimination; penalty; exceptions

Sec. 105. (a) No public utility may make or give any undue or unreasonable preference or advantage to any person, or subject any person to any undue or unreasonable prejudice or disadvantage in any respect. A person who violates this section commits a Class B infraction.       (b) Nothing in this chapter shall prevent any public utility from furnishing service free or at reduced rates to any of its employees and officers or retired employees and officers or from providing energy assistance to a heating assistance program administered under IC 4-4-33 to persons eligible for that assistance.
