Sec. 8. (a) The holder of an artisan distiller's permit, a distiller's permit, or a rectifier's permit may not own, acquire, or possess a permit to sell liquor at wholesale. A distiller or rectifier may not have an interest in the business of a permittee who is authorized to sell beer, liquor, or wine at: (1) wholesale; or (2) except as provided in IC 7.1-3-27-6 , retail.       (b) A person who knowingly or intentionally violates this section commits a Class B misdemeanor.
