"Hard cider"

Sec. 9.5. The term "hard cider" means an alcoholic beverage that: (1) is made from the normal alcoholic fermentation of the juice of sound, ripe apples; and (2) contains at least one-half of one percent (0.5%) of alcohol by volume and not more than seven percent (7%) of alcohol by volume. The term includes flavored, sparkling, or carbonated cider and cider made from condensed apple.
