Indiana Code § 5-3-4-2

"Governmental body" defined

Sec. 2. As used in this chapter, "governmental body" means any of the following: (1) A state agency (as defined in IC 4-13-1-1 ). (2) The legislative department of state government. (3) The judicial department of state government. (4) A political subdivision (as defined in IC 36-1-2-13 ). (5) A state educational institution. (6) An instrumentality of the state that performs essential governmental functions. (7) The state lottery commission created by IC 4-30-3-1 .
