Commissioner; advisory body; alternates

Sec. 2. (a) The commission consists of one (1) commissioner from each party state, who shall be the governor of the party state.       (b) The commissioner from each state shall have the assistance of an advisory body, whose members shall be determined by each party state, to: (1) consider problems relating to the scope of this article; and (2) assist in discharging the commissioner's responsibilities on the commission.       (c) When a commissioner is unable to attend a meeting of the commission or perform any other function in connection with the business of the commission, the commissioner shall designate an alternate, from among the members of the advisory body required by this section, to represent and act for the commissioner. The designation of an alternate shall be communicated by the commissioner to the commission in such manner as its bylaws may provide.
