Complaints; summons; forms

Sec. 10. (a) A person enforcing this chapter may issue a complaint and summons for a violation of section 5 or 8 of this chapter or an ordinance described in section 9 of this chapter on a form other than the forms described in IC 9-30-3-6 . However, the complaint must comply with the Indiana Rules of Trial Procedure.       (b) A complaint and summons issued under subsection (a) must explain the conditions described in IC 34-28-5-14 under which a court may enter a judgment against the person named in the summons and complaint without requiring the defendant to make a personal appearance before the court.
