Sec. 1. This chapter applies to an emergency medical services provider who is: (1) employed by a municipal corporation; and (2) not eligible for a disability benefit under IC 36-8-6 , IC 36-8-7 , IC 36-8-7.5 , or IC 36-8-8 .
