Sec. 33. "Health facility property", for purposes of IC 5-1.2-7 , means any tangible or intangible property or asset owned or used by a participating provider that: (1) is determined by the authority to be necessary or helpful, directly or indirectly, to provide: (A) health care; (B) medical research; (C) training or teaching of health care personnel; (D) habilitation, rehabilitation, or therapeutic services; or (E) any related supporting services; regardless of whether the property is in existence at the time of, or is to be provided after the making of, the finding; (2) is: (A) a residential facility for individuals with a physical, mental, or emotional disability; (B) a residential facility for individuals with a physical or mental illness; or (C) a residential facility for the elderly; or (3) is a licensed child caring institution providing residential care described in IC 12-7-2-29 (1) or corresponding provisions of the laws of the state in which the property is located.
