"Governmental requirement"

Sec. 1. As used in this chapter, "governmental requirement" means a requirement imposed on a utility by a governmental unit in connection with: (1) the federal Clean Water Act (33 U.S.C. 1251 et seq.); (2) the federal Safe Drinking Water Act (42 U.S.C. 300f et seq.); or (3) any other law, order, rule, or regulation administered or issued by the United States Environmental Protection Agency, the department of environmental management, or the department of natural resources in connection with the federal Clean Water Act or the federal Safe Drinking Water Act.
