Indiana Code § 5-1-6-16

Powers conferred by chapter

Sec. 16. This chapter constitutes full and complete authority for the issuance of refunding bonds. No procedure or proceedings, publications, notices, consents, approvals, orders, acts or things by any governing body, or any board, officer, commission, department, agency, or instrumentality of the state or any issuing body shall be required to issue any refunding bonds or to do any act or perform any thing under this chapter, except as may be prescribed in this chapter. The powers conferred by this chapter shall be in addition and supplemental to, and not in substitution for, and the limitations imposed by this chapter shall not affect, the powers conferred by any other law. This chapter is remedial in nature and shall be liberally construed. [Pre-Local Government Recodification Citation: 19-8-7-16.]   IC 5-1-7 Chapter 7.
