Sec. 5. (a) The attorney general is not entitled to a contingency fee if the attorney general hired private attorneys as outside counsel to litigate the case. (b) The amount of money deposited in the fund each state fiscal year under this chapter may not exceed two million five hundred thousand dollars ($2,500,000). However, after review by the budget committee, the amount of money deposited in the fund in a given state fiscal year may exceed two million five hundred thousand dollars ($2,500,000).
