Legislative intent

Sec. 2. This article is intended to benefit the people of Indiana by promoting tourism and assisting economic development. The public's confidence and trust will be maintained only through: (1) comprehensive law enforcement supervision; and (2) the strict regulation of facilities, persons, associations, and gambling operations under this article.
