Sec. 5. (a) Each member of the commission is entitled to the minimum salary per diem for each day the member is engaged in official business. (b) The minimum salary per diem that each member of the commission is entitled to receive equals the maximum daily amount allowed to employees of the executive branch of the federal government for subsistence expenses while away from home in travel status in Indianapolis. (c) Each member is also entitled to reimbursement for traveling expenses and other expenses actually incurred in connection with the member's duties, as provided in the state travel policies and procedures established by the department of administration and approved by the budget agency.
