Rights, duties, and obligations of contracts entered into by governor's workforce cabinet before its abolishment

Sec. 3. (a) After July 1, 2025, the effective date of HEA 1001-2025, a contract entered into by the governor's workforce cabinet (before its abolishment on July 1, 2025) is a contract of the department.       (b) The repeal of IC 4-3-27 does not affect the rights, duties, or obligations of the department or a person who before July 1, 2025, had a contract with the governor's workforce cabinet (before its abolishment on July 1, 2025).       (c) A person or the department may enforce a right to compel performance of a duty for a contract as if the repeal of IC 4-3-27 had not been enacted.   IC 4-3-28.1 Chapter 28.1.
