Director; appointment; qualifications

Sec. 37. (a) The board shall appoint a director to be the chief administrative officer of the state library.       (b) To qualify for the position of director, a person must: (1) be a graduate of a college or university of recognized standing; (2) have had special training in the technique and organization of library service; and (3) possess such other qualifications as the board, in its discretion, may deem necessary.
