Terms; removal of members; vacancies

Sec. 4. (a) A member of the commission may be removed at any time by the member's appointing authority.       (b) The appointing authority shall fill a vacancy on the commission by appointing a new member for the unexpired term.       (c) The terms of the legislative members are two (2) years in length and expire June 30 of each odd-numbered year.       (d) A member of the commission appointed under section 3(11) through 3(13) of this chapter serves a four (4) year term that expires as follows: (1) For a member appointed under section 3(11) of this chapter, December 31, 2025, and every fourth year thereafter. (2) For a member appointed under section 3(12) or 3(13) of this chapter, June 30, 2025, and every fourth year thereafter.
