Recordation and filing

Sec. 18. (a) Except as provided in subsection (b), this section applies to any transfer under this chapter.       (b) This section does not apply if the instrument is a lease for a term of four (4) years or less.       (c) The instrument shall be recorded in each county in which the property is located.       (d) Except as provided in subsection (e), a copy of the instrument shall be filed in the land office.       (e) If the transfer involves two (2) agencies, the instrument shall also be filed in the land office.
