Indiana Code § 4-20.5-1-3

"Agency"

Sec. 3. (a) "Agency", except as provided in subsections (b) and (c), refers to any of the following: (1) An agency, a board, a bureau, a commission, a committee, a department, a division, an instrumentality, an office, or an officer of the state. (2) An entity that holds title to or possesses property in the name of, or on behalf of, the state.       (b) For purposes of the following statutes, "agency" has the meaning set forth in IC 4-13-1-1 : (1) IC 4-20.5-5 . (2) IC 4-20.5-6 .       (c) "Agency" does not include a state educational institution.
