Sec. 3. There is created within the state personnel department the Indiana affirmative action office. The director of the department shall: (1) appoint an affirmative action officer who shall direct the office; and (2) employ the additional personnel necessary to carry out the functions of the office, which personnel are governed by IC 4-15-2.2 .
