Lease with society; term; rental; state activities or functions

Sec. 8. (a) The department may enter into a lease with the society for the society's use of any part of the building, exterior improvements, and surrounding site.       (b) Notwithstanding the term limitation for a lease under IC 4-13-1-4 (10), the department may enter into a lease under subsection (a) for a term of not more than ninety-nine (99) years.       (c) Rent under a lease entered into under this section is one dollar ($1) each year, payable in advance.       (d) A lease entered into under this section may permit the building to house state activities or functions.
