Sec. 12. (a) The articles of association may be amended upon the recommendation of the directors and the approval of two-thirds (2/3) of all members of the association at a meeting called for that purpose. Amended articles must be signed and acknowledged by a majority of the directors. A copy of all amendments shall be filed with the municipal works board and recorded in the office of the county recorder.       (b) A copy of the articles of association, with any amendments, shall be kept available at the office of the agent of the association during regular business hours for signature by an owner of real property who desires to become a member of the association by signing the copy and by paying any membership fee and any annual dues.
