Board; compensation and expenses of members

Sec. 10. (a) Except as provided in subsection (b), the members of the board are not entitled to a salary but are entitled to an allowance for actual expenses and mileage at the same rate as other county officials.       (b) If the authority includes Lake County, a member of the board is entitled to reimbursement for traveling expenses and other expenses actually incurred in connection with the member's duties as provided: (1) in the procedures established by the department of administration and approved by the budget agency for state employee travel; or (2) by ordinance of the county fiscal body.
