Sec. 2. The legislative body of a town may by ordinance: (1) abolish the office of town marshal; and (2) establish a board of metropolitan police commissioners (referred to as "the board" in this chapter). [Pre-Local Government Recodification Citation: 19-1-25-1 part.]
