Sec. 0.1. The following amendments to this chapter apply as follows: (1) The addition of section 20 of this chapter by P.L.223-1986 applies only to fund members who die after March 10, 1986. (2) The amendments made to section 8 of this chapter by P.L.171-1990 apply to all benefits paid after March 15, 1990. (3) The amendments made to section 9.8 of this chapter by P.L.28-2008 apply only to benefits payable with respect to a member of the 1925 police pension fund who dies after June 30, 2008.
