Sec. 1. The following definitions apply throughout this chapter: (1) "Board" means the Marion County crime reduction board established by section 2 of this chapter. (2) "Downtown district" means the area bounded by: (A) on the south: (i) Morris Street from the White River to Prospect Street; and (ii) Prospect Street east from Morris Street to Interstate I-65 north; (B) on the west, the White River from Morris Street to 10th Street; (C) on the east, Interstate I-65 north from Prospect Street to Interstate I-70 east; and (D) on the north: (i) Fall Creek from the White River to Indiana Avenue; (ii) 10th Street from Indiana Avenue to Brooks Street; (iii) Oscar Robertson Boulevard/11th Street from Brooks Street to the northbound exit onto Interstate I-65 south from Martin Luther King Boulevard; (iv) the northbound exit onto Interstate I-65 south from Martin Luther King Boulevard to Capitol Avenue; and (v) Interstate I-65 south from Capitol Avenue to Interstate I-70 east. (3) "Interoperability agreement" means an agreement between two (2) or more members of the board that increases the duties or responsibilities of a law enforcement agency supervised or operated by a member of the board.
