Providers' duty to coordinate with board and provide information; board's use of confidential information

Sec. 39. (a) In cooperation with the board, a provider shall designate a person to coordinate with and provide all relevant information to the board to assist the board in carrying out its duties under this chapter.       (b) A provider shall provide the automatic number identification, or a functional equivalent or successor, and any other information, including updates, required by the board to the county, the municipality, an authorized agent of a county or municipality, or the board or the board's authorized agent for purposes of establishing and maintaining a 911 system data base or online network repository of the data. The board may use confidential information received under this subsection solely for the purpose of providing statewide 911 service.
