Conversion of rural route addresses

Sec. 405.5. (a) This section applies to a county where any territory contains rural route addresses.       (b) Each plan commission shall develop a plan for converting rural route addresses within the county to numbered addresses under section 405 of this chapter.       (c) This subsection applies to a county or part of a county that is not under the jurisdiction of a plan commission. The county executive shall develop a plan for converting rural route addresses within the county (or part of a county) to numbered addresses under section 405 of this chapter.       (d) A plan adopted under this section must specify a date by which the plan commission or county executive intends to complete the conversion of rural route addresses to numbered addresses.
