Sec. 9. This section applies only to a petition filed after June 30, 2013. A petition for incorporation may not be refiled within two (2) years after the date: (1) the petition was denied under section 8(b)(2) of this chapter; or (2) of the election at which a majority of voters voting on the public question vote "no" under section 8 of this chapter.
