Indiana Code § 36-3-4-10

Ordinance or resolution; majority vote; two-thirds vote

Sec. 10. (a) A requirement that an ordinance or resolution of a legislative body be passed by a majority vote means at least a majority vote of all the elected members.       (b) A requirement that an ordinance or resolution of a legislative body be passed by a two-thirds (2/3) vote means at least a two-thirds (2/3) vote of all the elected members.
