Alteration of status, boundaries, or ordinances of political subdivisions

Sec. 12. This chapter does not alter the status, boundaries, or ordinances of political subdivisions in a county where a first class city became a consolidated city before September 1, 1981. The status, boundaries, and ordinances remain as they existed on August 31, 1981, until altered according to the applicable law.   IC 36-3-2 Chapter 2.
