Sec. 9. This chapter does not require the county sheriff to pay the following into the county general fund: (1) Any damages set forth in a warrant that is issued by the department of state revenue and on which collection is made by the sheriff, including damages prescribed by IC 6-8.1-8 . (2) Sums, other than court fees, retained by the circuit court clerk for the sheriff from the collections obtained by warrants of the department of workforce development.
