Employment of attorney to represent and advise fiscal body

Sec. 10. (a) The fiscal body may employ and fix the compensation of an attorney to represent and advise the fiscal body.       (b) For the purposes of Section 9, Article 2 of the Constitution of the State of Indiana, employment by a county fiscal body as an attorney does not constitute a lucrative office.   IC 36-2-3.5 Chapter 3.5.
