Duties as county sheriff

Sec. 4. The coroner shall perform the duties of the county sheriff only in cases in which the sheriff: (1) is interested or incapacitated from serving; and (2) has no chief deputy who may perform the sheriff's duties. [Pre-Local Government Recodification Citations: 17-3-17-1 part; 17-3-17-2 part.]
