Indiana Code § 36-2-11-5

Delivery of instruments left for record on expiration of term

Sec. 5. At the expiration of the recorder's term of office, the recorder shall deliver all instruments left for record with the recorder to the recorder's successor in office, whether the fees for recording them have been paid or not. [Pre-Local Government Recodification Citation: 5-7-9-1 part.]
