Sec. 14. A public library shall adopt a policy, not later than December 31, 2020, regarding conducting criminal history checks for individuals who are more than eighteen (18) years of age and who: (1) apply to the public library for employment or volunteer work; or (2) are employed by the public library or perform volunteer work for the public library.
