Invasion of privacy convictions; release and hearings; notice to persons protected by orders

Sec. 18. The law enforcement agency having custody of a person who is sentenced to a term of imprisonment of more than ten (10) days following conviction of a crime under section 15.1 or 15.3 of this chapter shall: (1) provide each person described in section 16 of this chapter with written notification of: (A) the release of a person convicted of a crime under section 15.1 or 15.3 of this chapter (as appropriate); and (B) the date, time, and place of any substantive hearing concerning a violation of section 15.1 or 15.3 of this chapter (as appropriate) by a person who is sentenced to a term of imprisonment of more than ten (10) days following conviction of a crime under section 15.1 or 15.3 of this chapter (as appropriate); and (2) attempt to notify each person described in section 16 of this chapter by telephone to provide the information described in subdivision (1).
