Offenses concerning Social Security numbers

Sec. 2. (a) An employee of a state agency who unlawfully discloses a Social Security number is subject to criminal prosecution under IC 4-1-10-8 .       (b) An employee of a state agency who makes a false representation to obtain a Social Security number from the state agency is subject to criminal prosecution under IC 4-1-10-9 .       (c) An employee of a state agency who negligently discloses a Social Security number is subject to a civil action for an infraction under IC 4-1-10-10 .
