Authority to impound certain vehicles

Sec. 7. A law enforcement officer shall impound a motor vehicle, other than a motor vehicle used in public transportation and owned or operated by the state or a political subdivision, that is used to commit a violation of section 3 or 4 of this chapter.   IC 35-44.2 ARTICLE 44.2.
